Algeria to host International Conference on Colonial Crimes in Africa

ALGIERS - Algeria will host the International Conference on Colonial Crimes in Africa this Sunday and Monday, a major continental event following the African Union (AU) Summit decision adopted in February 2025, which endorsed the initiative of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to hold a conference in Algeria celebrating and advancing the 2025 theme: "Justice for Africans and People of African Descent through Reparations."
