Urgent medical evacuation of French national mariner off Algiers

ALGIERS - The Coast Guard units under the Naval Forces Command on Thursday carried out a sea rescue and medevac operation off Ain Benian, Algiers, to save a 60-year French sailor suffering from a medical emergency, who had issued a distress call from a French-flagged sailing yacht, the National Defence said in a statement.
