CAMRE endorses resolution hailing Algeria’s Green Dam efforts to combat desertification

ALGIERS - The Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for the Environment (CAMRE), during its 37th session held in Cairo with the participation of Algerian Minister of Environment and Quality of Life Kaouter Krikou, approved a resolution commending Algeria’s initiative and efforts to combat desertification through the Green Dam project and highlighting its key role in protecting land and ecosystems, according to a ministry statement released Friday.
