138 fires extinguished in past 24 hours

ALGIERS - Algerian Civil Protection services extinguished 138 of the 154 fires recorded across several provinces over the past 24 hours, while efforts continue to put out the remaining 16, the Deputy Director of Statistics and Communication at Civil Protection, Lieutenant Colonel Nassim Bernaoui, said Saturday.
