IARC praises Algeria's progress in pharmaceutical industry

ALGIERS - The Director-General of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), a specialized agency of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr. Elisabete Weiderpass, has praised the progress achieved by Algeria in the pharmaceutical industry in recent years, particularly the efforts undertaken to develop the production of anticancer medicines.
