Illiteracy rate in Algeria drops to 4.7%

ALGIERS - Ongoing efforts by the State in the field of literacy have helped reduce the illiteracy rate to 4.7% through an effective national strategy and the mobilization of the resources needed to achieve this goal, says Hicham Brim, director of the National Office for Literacy and Adult Education.
