UN Fourth Committee adopts resolution reaffirming legal status of Western Sahara as decolonization issue

NEW YORK (United Nations) -The United Nations General Assembly’s Special Political and Decolonization Committee (Fourth Committee) adopted a resolution during its 80th session, reaffirming Western Sahara’s legal status as a decolonization issue and underscoring the United Nations’ responsibility toward the Sahrawi people, according to the Sahara Press Service (SPS) news agency.
