During his periodic meeting with representatives of the national press, broadcast Saturday evening on national television and radio, the President of the Republic reviewed Algeria’s diplomatic ties with several neighboring, brotherly, and friendly countries.

Regarding Mauritania, the President of the Republic emphasized the fraternal nature of bilateral relations, noting that Algeria "seeks to assist this neighboring country whenever possible," particularly in healthcare and education.

"Our relations with other states are selfless," he stated, adding that "Mauritania is free to manage its own relations."

Turning to the Sahel, President Tebboune addressed relations with Niger, expressing "great respect for President Abdourahamane Tiani," to whom he has extended an official invitation to visit Algeria.

On the subject of Mali, the President of the Republic recalled the shared history between the two countries and warned against foreign actors entering the country "for the sake of armament and the plundering of resources."

He also characterized relations with Burkina Faso as "good," reaffirming Algeria’s readiness to strengthen them further.

Responding to a question on Libya, the President of the Republic recalled the two countries' shared history in the struggle against colonialism, emphasizing that "anything that affects Libya also affects Algeria."

He highlighted the role of the tripartite mechanism (Algeria, Egypt and Tunisia) and the periodic meetings of their foreign ministers.

President Tebboune stressed the need to "allow Libyans to decide the future of their country and choose their representatives," underlining the importance of legislative elections as affirmed by the United Nations (UN).

Addressing ties with Egypt, the President of the Republic noted that relations rest on nearly 70 years of complementarity.

Recalling their shared history and mutual support, he affirmed: "Anything that affects Egypt affects us; we reject any aggression against this country."

He similarly welcomed relations with Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing them as "more than fraternal."

He further praised the high level of cooperation with the State of Qatar revealing that a "micro-state has attempted to interfere in our elections and other internal matters."
