ALGIERS - The Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Houria Meddahi, affirmed on Thursday that desert tourism had experienced a "remarkable revival" following the implementation of the visa-on-arrival policy, with Algeria welcoming 47,000 foreign tourists of various nationalities during the 2024-2025 season.
