ALGIERS- Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra met, Wednesday, with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, on the developments of the Sahrawi cause and the efforts made for the resumption of the UN process to decolonize the Western Sahara.

AOUSSERD (Sahrawi refugee camps)- Foreign delegations participating in the 9th conference of the National Union of Sahrawi Women (NUSW), held at the Sahrawi refugee camp of Aousserd, urged on Sunday the United Nations and the international community to “speed up the decolonization process in Western Sahara.”

ALGIERS-The participants in the Diplomatic Forum of Solidarity with the Sahrawi People affirmed Friday that the decolonization of Western Sahara is the responsibility of the United Nations (UN), stressing that the end of the current impasse requires real support from the Security Council to the UN envoy for Western Sahara, Staffan de Mistura.

ALGIERS-The embassy of South Africa in Algiers delivered Monday a shipment of aid to its Sahrawi counterpart, destined for the pupils of the "Soweto Victims" elementary school in the province of Aousserd, located in the Sahrawi refugee camps, collected by several countries as a sign of support to the Sahrawi people.

Occupied BOUJDOUR- An American delegation of the initiative “Just Visit Western Sahara” was arrested Monday by the Moroccan occupation authorities at the airport of occupied al-Ayun, in Western Sahara, as it was going to visit the family of the human rights activist Sultana Khaya in occupied Boujdour, said the delegation.
