BIR LAHLOU (Sahrawi Republic)- The president of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), secretary general of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, said Western Sahara people "has a legitimate right to respond forcefully to the violations of the State of occupation and any act aimed at undermining the security of Sahrawi citizens, wherever they are," the Sahrawi news agency SPS said Tuesday.
CHAHID EL HAFEDH- Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) intends to take legal proceedings at the Court of justice of the African Union (AU) against Morocco, for the crimes it has committed in occupied Western Sahara, Khatri Addouh, a member of the Polisario Front National Secretariat, said Wednesday.
BIR LAHLOU- Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) continued Monday its attacks against the positions of the Moroccan occupation forces, along the sand wall, the Sahrawi ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
MOSCOW (Russia)- The resumption of war between Morocco and the Sahrawi Republic is not a "surprise" considering the failure of the influent international parties to deal with Western Sahara issue and the procrastination of the international community in getting Morocco to come back to the negotiation table, political analyst Sidi Mohamed Benjaafar said.
BIR LEHLOU- Sahrawi Liberation Army (APLS) has continued its attacks against the positions of the Moroccan occupation Army along the sand wall, the Sahrawi ministry of Defense said Saturday in the military communiqué n° 58.
NEW YORK (United Nations)- The chairman of the UN Security Council, South Africa's representative to the United Nations, has made public an official letter from his country, which holds the current presidency of the African Union, including the list of the resolutions adopted by the 14th AU extraordinary summit, and the new decision on Western Sahara conflict.
ALGIERS- The recent deal between the United States and Morocco has generated involuntarily a "new surge" of international solidarity with the just cause of Western Sahara, the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) President's advisor, Bachir Mustapha Sayed, said Sunday.
ADDIS ABEBA- President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), Brahim Ghali called on African Union and its Peace and Security Council (PSC) to assume responsibility in the face of the Moroccan aggression against the Sahrawi people, and to work for silencing the guns in Western Sahara through a firm and determined African effort.
CHAHID EL-HAFED- The minister advisor to the Sahrawi presidency for Political Affairs, Bachir Mustapha Syed, said Tuesday that "the 13 November 2020 marks an important change in our people's struggle, manifested in the attacks of the National Liberation Army and the huge mobilization, in support of the Popular Front's decision to resume the armed struggle" against the Moroccan occupation.
PARIS (France)- The French Association of SADR (Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic) Friends (AARASD) denounced Morocco's "particularly aggressive" reaction against the Sahrawi diaspora who organized Saturday a rally, authorized by the municipal authorities of Paris, stressing that no one is able to prevent Sahrawi public expression in favour of Western Sahara people's self-determination.
