NEW YORK (United Nations) - The Polisario Front representation in the United Nations reaffirmed Friday that Morocco has obstructed the appointment of a new UN envoy for Western Sahara, and which has made all the missions of the former UN envoys in Western Sahara "impossible" in order to "maintain the status quo" in the Sahrawi question.
BIR LAHLOU (Sahrawi Liberated Territories)-The Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) conducted news attacks on positions and retrenchments of the Moroccan army for along the Wall of Shame for the 153rd consecutive day, said Thursday the Sahrawi Defence Ministry in a communiqué.

NEW YORK (UNITED NATIONS)-The Polisario Front Representative at the United Nations (UN) Sidi Mohamed Omar on Tuesday has urged, once again, the UN Security Council to hold Morocco responsible for its role in drug and human trafficking in occupied Western Sahara, and warned that peace and security “are more and more threatened” in the region due to these practices.
OCCUPIED LAAYOUNE-Chairperson of the Sahrawi Organ against Moroccan Repression (ISACOM) Aminatou Haidar called the United Nations (UN) Secretary General to immediately intervene and protect the Sahrawi civilians from the systematic violations committed by Morocco and its repressive practices, holding him and the Security Council responsible for this relentlessness against Sahrawi rights.
MADRID-The chargé d'affaires of the occupied Sahrawi territories Abdallah Souilem said Monday that “the Moroccan forces intensified their repressive and intimidation actions against the Sahrawi civilians,” stressing that “the degraded situation of human rights in the occupied territories of Western Sahara presages a humanitarian disaster if the international community does not intervene to dissuade the Moroccan regime.”
