ALGIERS - Exhibitions, music concerts and literary and poetic meetings, led by Algerian artists and writers, are on the program of the Algerian Cultural Days in Irbid (north of the Jordanian capital Amman), scheduled for June 22 and 23, as part of the celebrations of "Ibrid, Capital of Arab Culture 2022".

ALGIERS- Prime Minister, Aïmene Benabderahmane, received Thursday in the Government’s Palace, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Youssef Mahmoud Ashamaleh, said the Prime Minister’s Office in a communiqué.

ALGIERS- Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab received Tuesday Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Youssef Al Shamali with whom he agreed on a working programme to study the possibility of supplying Jordan with crude oil, LNG as well as the distribution and storage of oil products in Jordan.

ALGIERS-The Algeria-Jordan parliamentary group of brotherhood and friendship was installed Wednesday at the headquarters of the People's National Assembly (Lower House) to boost bilateral cooperation.

ALGIERS-The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra paid Sunday a working visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan "as part of efforts to tighten relations of brotherhood and bilateral cooperation and consultation on regional and international issues of common interest," said the Foreign Ministry in a statement. 

AMMAN-Jordanian writer and political analyst Hamada Faraana commended Algeria's role in unifying the Palestinian ranks by hosting several events and meetings under its efforts to bring the political parties together" in Palestine, and hope that the Algeria-backed national dialogue will be successful.

ALGIERS- Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra affirmed, in a telephone conversation with Jordan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Hussein al-Sadafi, the continued commitment to working for the promotion of the bilateral relations and the strengthening of discussions on the situation in the Arab region.

SETIF (Algeria)- 240,000 cubic meters (m3) of ceramic produced by the private industrial group "Sekceram" of Setif were exported Wednesday to Jordan in the presence of local authorities.

ALGIERS-The Scientific and Technical Research Centre for the Development of the Arabic Language (CRSTDLA) and the Jordan Foundation "Attanal Al Arabi" have a sealed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation (MoU) on the marketing, validation and implementation of an international certification of Arabic language proficiency, said the centre in a communiqué.
