ALGIERS-The Special Envoy in charge of the Western Sahara issue and Maghreb countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Amar Belani stressed Monday that the position of the European Union (EU) to fully support the United Nations (UN) efforts to engage a political process for the settlement of the Sahrawi issue "contributes to reducing the campaign led by Morocco to resurrect its 2007 proposal to a vain attempt to circumvent international law.”
