Sahrawi people resolutely committed to liberation path

OCCUPIED LAAYOUNE-The Sahrawi people are resolutely committed to full independence, the recovery of looted land and the restoration of State sovereignty over all their territory, said the Head of the Secretariat of Political Organization of the Polisario Front Khatri Addouh, stressing that the armed struggle will continue to counter the plans of the Moroccan occupation.

The Sahrawi people will continue armed struggle that will be further enhanced to counter the plans and repression of the occupier, and thus strengthen its presence on the international scene, said Khatri Addouh at a conference by videoconference by the Sahrawi Authority against Moroccan occupation (ISACOM) themed "The Sahrawi State on the path to liberation, 45 years of institution-building and resistance to occupation.” It is organized as part of the 45th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) celebrated on February 27.

“The Sahrawi people have left enough time to convince the international community that Morocco has no good willingness for a peaceful and just solution to the Sahrawi issue,” he said.

The member of the General Secretariat of the Polisario Front Khatri Addouh, President of the Committee for the preparations for the commemoration of the 45th anniversary of SADR proclamation focused on the need for the United Nations to fulfill commitments made in 1991.

"In the past, progress towards a peaceful and just solution and the recovery of our legitimate right to independence was associated with international agendas and international meetings, such as those of the General Assembly (GA), the Security Council, the renewal of the MINURSO mission and rounds of negotiations," recalled Khatri Addouh.
