The gathering took place at the call of the Collective of Associations of the Sahrawi Community in France and the Platform for Solidarity with the People of Western Sahara, Mohamed Sidati told APS.

He dubbed the demonstration an "important event" that marks "the unity and cohesion of the Sahrawi people."

The demonstration also comes in support of the 19 Sahrawi political prisoners of Gdeim Izik, whose sentences were unjustly confirmed by the Court of cassation of Rabat.
