"The military operations launched by the Sahrawi army against the positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in response to November 13 military aggression caused significant losses to the enemy, who refuses to reveal them," Taleb Omar said during a solidarity sit-in observed by the National Liberation Front (FLN) party at its headquarters.
The Sahrawi ambassador added that "the Moroccan soldiers, who hide in the trenches and refuse to face the Sahrawi army soldiers, are under huge pressure due to attacks on their positions," stressing that "the occupation authorities threaten Moroccan families so to keep them secret."
Affirming that "the armed struggle will continue until the presentation of operational measures for the organization of a self-determination referendum," the member of the national secretariat of the Polisario Front said that "Morocco is trying to avoid the organization of a referendum as they are aware that the Sahrawi people will choose independence."
For the Sahrawi ambassador, "Western Sahara people are not supporters of the war but they no longer believe in promises if not concrete," calling for "the cancellation of all the steps taken by the Moroccan occupation to restart on a good basis and grant the Sahrawi people their right to self-determination."
