ALGIERS-The 24th International Exhibition of Building, Construction Materials, and Public Works "Batimatec 2022" will be held on 15-19 May at the Exhibition Palace (Pins Maritimes, Algiers), said the organizers. 

ALGIERS-Minister of Public Works, Kamal Nasri on Sunday announced the implementation of sixteen (16) projects to ease traffic in the capital.

ALGIERS-Some 200,000 visitors are expected at the 23rd edition of the International Exhibition of Building, Construction Materials and Public Works "Batimatec", which opened Sunday at the Exhibition Palace in Algiers, said organizers.

ALGIERS-The Government meeting chaired Saturday by Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Aïmene Benabderrahmane listened to a presentation by the Minister of Public Works on two draft executives decrees on the expansion of the provincial road linking Heraoua to Ouled Moussa and the protection and expansion work of the provincial road in the municipality of Draria.

ALGIERS- Several projects have been implemented and others are about to be accomplished in the public works and transport sectors during the period from January to May 2021, including stations of the Algiers Metro, extensions of railway lines and tramways as well as rehabilitation of road and airport infrastructure, according to a report issued by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport.

ALGIERS- Minister of Public Works and Acting Minister of Transport Farouk Chiali began Saturday a working visit to the province of Algiers during which he will proceed to the commissioning of several infrastructures and the launch of projects.

ALGIERS-Cosider Group has recently landed a contract to implement a project in an African country under its new strategy targeting international deals, the group’s CEO Lakhdar Rekhroukh announced Monday.  

ALGIERS- The additional financial needs for the completion of equipment projects in public works and transport have been considered by the government in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad on Wednesday, the Prime Minister' office said in a statement.

ALGIERS- The priority of the civil engineering sector is to complete and deliver all ongoing infrastructure projects, to continue the measures taken to preserve the existing infrastructures and launch the projects meant to support shadow areas, the minister of Public Works, Farouk Chiali, said.

ALGIERS-Minister of Public Works Farouk Chiali said Saturday in Algiers that Algeria was working to export services and products of his sector especially to African markets.
