ALGIERS- A network, made up of three supporters of a terrorist group, activating on the heights of Tipaza, was dismantled this week by the security services of the National Defense Ministry, said on Wednesday a ministerial communiqué.

ALGIERS-The Ministry of National Defence on Sunday denied allegations about the participation of the People’s National Army (ANP) in military missions outside Algerian borders led by foreign countries under the G5 Sahel.

ALGIERS- A bunker for terrorists and a homemade bomb were destroyed by detachments of the People’s National Army, seizing also more than 19 quintals of cannabis resin and arresting 16 drug traffickers during the period from 3 to 9 February, the National Defense Ministry said Wednesday in a statement.

ALGIERS- The six terrorists, eliminated in an operation carried out by detachments of the People’s National Army in Messelmoune in the province of Tipaza on 2 and 3 January, have been identified, the Ministry of National Defense announced in a statement.

ALGIERS- Lieutenant General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the National People's Army, chaired a working meeting at the headquarters of the People’s National Army’s General Staff to assess the evolution of the security situation in the country and in the region, said a press release from the National Defence Ministry (MDN).
