ALGIERS-Coastguards on Tuesday rescued five sailors who were aboard a boat reported missing after an engine breakdown off Bouharoune (province of Tipaza), announced the National Defence Ministry in a communiqué.

ALGIERS-A unit of Coastguards on Friday started a search and rescue operation of three (3) sailors reported missing after their boat capsized in the Bay of Algiers, announced Sunday the National Defence Ministry in a communiqué.

MOSTAGANEM (Algeria)- A coastguard patrol has recovered off the eastern coast of Mostaganem (355-km west of Algiers) a package containing 151 kg of cannabis, the security body said Saturday.
