JIJEL- Adviser to President of the Republic in charge of marginalized areas Brahim Merad affirmed Friday, in Jijel, that “the State is working currently to reinstate rural areas to their pioneering role in economy.”
JIJEL- The Chargé de mission at the Presidency of the Republic, Brahim Merad, said Wednesday in the municipality of Texenna (South of Jijel, 300 km east of Algiers) that the marginalized regions in Algeria "are experiencing a qualitative development impetus in various fields".

4.8-magnitude earthquake hits Setif
