ALGIERS- The public pharmaceutical group Saidal will produce as from next September 2.5 million doses of Sputnik V and Sinovac vaccines per month, Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry Abderrahmane Lotfi Djamel Benbahmed said Tuesday in Algiers.

ALGIERS-President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Monday ordered the “immediate” implementation of the project to produce the Russian anti-Covid-19 vaccine “Sputnik V.”

ALGIERS- Training for the staff in charge of producing Russian Coronavirus vaccine “Sputnik V” will start soon, according to the Chief Executive Officer of the public pharmaceutical group Saidal Fatoum Akacem.

ALGIERS- The Covid-19 vaccine Sputnik V will be produced in Algeria by the public group Saidal in partnership with the Russian laboratory as from September 2021, Minister of Pharmaceutical Industry Lotfi Benbahmed announced Wednesday, in Algiers.

 

ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune urged, during the Council of Ministers meeting the continuation of contacts with Russian partner for the launch of Sputnik-V vaccine production project in Algeria as soon as possible.

ALGIERS- Nearly twenty Algerian provinces, the most impacted by the Covid-19, are poised to receive Monday their respective lots of Russian coronavirus vaccine, Sputnik V, that is, 50,000 doses received Friday by the Pasteur Institute of Algeria.

ALGIERS- Algeria and Russia agreed, in an audience granted Sunday by Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad to Russia’s ambassador to Algiers Igor Beliaev, to initiate contacts to establish a bilateral cooperation in the manufacturing of the Russian Covid-19 vaccine “Sputnik V” in Algeria, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.
