ALGIERS- The members of the Council of the Nation (Upper House of Parliament) agreed Wednesday, at the end of the presentation of the Government Action plan by Prime Minister Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on the importance to monitor the implementation of new measures undertaken at the economic and social levels, insisting on the importance to unfreeze the planned development projects and to further support productive investment through an incentive business climate, in addition to the revision of the management mechanisms of banks and the modernization of the tax system.

Water resources: Dams full 68% nationwide

ALGIERS- Minister of Water Resources Hocine Necib affirmed Wednesday, in Algiers, that the filling rate of Algeria’s dams nationwide has reached 68 %.
ALGIERS- The annual rate of consumer prices stood at 6.9% until late May 2017, the National Statistics Office told APS.
