ALGIERS - The file of vehicles will be decided on before the end of the first quarter of 2022, said Tuesday President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune has ordered Sunday, in the Council of ministers, to immediately revise the specifications setting the conditions of importing vehicles and to speed up the announcement of authorized car dealers, the Presidency of the Republic said in a communiqué.

ALGIERS- The role of the Ministry of Industry is to grant final approvals for imports to the benefit of operators and not to set the time of arrival of the new vehicles, said Saturday in Algiers Minister of Industry, Ferhat Ait Ali Braham.

ALGIERS- Minister of Industry, Ferhat Aït Ali Braham, signed Monday the temporary import authorizations of new vehicles for four dealers, on the advice of the technical committee responsible for reviewing and monitoring the files relating to the exercise of this activity, the ministry said in a statement.

ALGIERS- The government has decided to authorize the importation of new vehicles in order to meet the needs of the national market, by granting soon the first authorizations to the retained car dealers, Minister of Industry Ferhat Ait Ali Braham announced on Sunday.
