ALGIERS- Algerian and Tunisian relations are special, said Thursday in Algiers Tunisia's Minister of Tourism and Craft Industry Selma Elloumi Rekik.

ALGIERS – The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) expressed Thursday its "extreme satisfaction" with the application of the economic reforms in Algeria, pledging to raise its funding of the investment programmes and help the country to achieve the new growth model.

ALGIERS- Minister of Finance Hadji Babaammi underlined, in Saudi Arabia's Jeddah, the economic and financial challenges in Muslim countries, and the reforms launched by Algeria to address the impact of the decline in oil prices, said the Ministry of Finance in a statement Thursday.

ALGIERS-The African Development Bank (AfDB) intends to contribute to the financing of the investments made by the National Company of Electricity and Gas (Sonelgaz) as from 2017, in response to "a request from the Algerian government," announced Thursday Resident Representative of this regional bank to Algeria Boubacar Sidiki Traore.

BRUSSELS-The prospects of complementarity between the Algerian and Belgian economies are "interesting," affirmed Thursday in Brussels Secretary of State for Foreign Trade and Investment for the Brussels-Capital Region Cecile Jodogne, who urged Algerian and Belgian companies to seize partnership opportunities to further boost bilateral economic cooperation.

ALGIERS- Algeria and Russia support the extension of the agreement on OPEC and non-OPEC oil production cut for an additional nine-month agreement, Minister of Energy Noureddine Boutarfa said Thursday in Moscow.
