ALGIERS-Energy Minister, Mustapha Guitouni is to partake in several meetings of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) scheduled for 5-7 December in Vienna (Austria), the ministry announced Sunday in a communiqué.

ALGIERS-Secretary General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) on Monday emphasized Algeria’s contribution to controlling the volatility of oil prices.

ALGIERS-Energy Minister Mustapha Guitouni stressed Thursday in Algiers that the decisions of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) “were sovereign.”

ALGIERS- Secretary General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo said Sunday in Algiers that the efforts exerted by OPEC and non OPEC countries helped stabilize the market which saw prices plummeting from 2014. The same official also called for continuing dialogue on the market fluctuations to keep it stable and balanced.

ALGIERS- The meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), scheduled for 22 and 23 September 2018 in Algiers, is an “important” meeting and will allow knowing the situation of the international oil market and to work to maintain its stability,” said Monday Minister of Energy Mustapha Guitouni.

 VIENNA (Austria) – The members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) meeting on Friday in Vienna agreed to comply with the production cut deal, down to 100%, which will result in an effective increase of the production by 757,000 barrels per day, said Energy Minister Mustapha Guitouni.

VIENNA-The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) unanimously decided to ramp up oil production by around 1 million barrels per day, Saudi Oil Minister Khalid al-Faleh announced Friday.

ALGIERS-Energy Minister Mustapha Guitouni, who takes part Friday in the 174^th Meeting of the Conference of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in Vienna, said that he was "optimistic" about an agreement that "is convenient for everyone.”

ALGIERS- Algeria will work with the member states of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-OPEC countries, during the meeting in Vienna on 22 June, to ensure the balance between supply and demand in order to preserve oil market stability, said Thursday in Algiers Minister of Energy Mustapha Guitouni.
