ALGIERS-The 11^th OPEC and Non-OPEC ministerial meeting bringing together the signatories of the Cooperation Statement, held Saturday by videoconference under the co-chairmanship of Saudi Arabia and Russia, decide to extend the 9.6 million barrels per day (bpd) production cut agreement to 31^st July 2020, announced Energy Minister and Chairman of the Conference of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Mohamed Arkab.

ALGIERS- The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) will hold two ministerial meetings on June 9 and 10 by videoconference to assess the output cut deal effect on the global oil market, OPEC announced.

ALGIERS- Minister of Energy Mohamed Arkab affirmed Thursday that Algeria has reduced its oil production in full compliance with the agreement of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), concluded on 12 April 2020, expressing his confidence that all the countries signatory to the agreement will respect the commitments made, said a ministerial communiqué.

ALGIERS-The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies agreed ahead of the videoconference held on Thursday to cut production by 10 million barrels per day (mbd) including 200,000 barrels for Algeria in May-June with a view to stabilizing oil priced impacted by the coronavirus pandemicn, announced Minister of Energy Mohamed Arkab.

ALGIERS-Algeria, which chairs the presidency of the OPEC Conference, urged Sunday oil producing countries to seize the opportunity of the meeting scheduled on 9 April in order to agree on “an global, massive and immediate” production cut.

VIENNA - The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its partners (OPEC+) will likely meet this week via videoconference to try to find a response to the plummeting oil prices, sources within the organization said.

ALGIERS- The ministers of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) have agreed to recommend Friday to their allies to extend the proposed additional adjustment by 1.5 million barrels per day until late 2020.
