ALGIERS- President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, said Thursday that the year 2023 will be marked by the membership of Algeria in BRICS.
MOSCOW-Russia welcomes Algeria’s resolve to join the BRICS association (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa), Russia’s Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said Tuesday.
NEW YORK (United Nations)-China welcomes Algeria's membership in the BRICS family, Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Saturday in New York, stressing that Algeria is a "great developing country" and a "representative of emerging economies.”
ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune affirmed that Algeria meets, to a large extent, the conditions that enable it to join the BRICS.
ALGIERS- Algeria is able to join the BRICS club, which is made up of the emerging countries, by 2030 through the programme of economy diversification adopted in 2016 and the strategic partnership agreement signed with China, the director of the National Higher College of Political Science, Mustapha Saïdj said.
XIAMEN (China)- The leaders of BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) expressed, during their Summit in China's Xiamen, their support to Africa's efforts for the resolution of conflicts in the continent, including in Western Sahara.
