According to a communiqué released by the Prime Minister’s Office, the draft decree, presented by the Minister of Industry, includes changes aimed at simplifying and conferring eligibility conditions, with a view to promoting competition and transparency by easing administrative procedures for car dealership activity.
The Government meeting also discussed the draft executive decree amending and completing the executive decree No. 20-312 dated 15 November 2020 on the conditions and modalities for granting authorization of customs clearance of production equipment under the activities of goods and services, said the source.
The amendments made to the aforementioned decree include the granting of authorization of customs clearance of renovated production lines and equipment under the activities of goods and services. They aim at easing administrative procedures for authorization granting to economic operators by introducing new criteria based on the protection of the national economic and easing eligibility conditions.
The Government decided to extend this possibility to the import of renovated of agricultural equipment, said the source.
