ALGIERS- A collective exhibition of plastic arts is organized at the art gallery “Amendyl” in Algiers for the National Association for Alzheimer’s Patients and their Families “Wenesni.”

El Dey band hosts concert in Algiers

ALGIERS – A concert of music mixing flamenco, châabi, folk and diwan music has been hosted Thursday evening in Algiers by "El Dey" band in front of a large audience, required to strictly comply with health prevention measures against the spread of the Coronavirus.
ALGIERS- “Ode to Emir Abdelkader,” a work inspired by a laudatory poetic text written by Polish thinker Cyptian Kamil Norwid for Emir Abdelkader for having saving, in the XIX century in Damascus, thousands of Christians from certain death, has been recently published in celebration of the bicentenary of this poet’s birth, as part of the Algeria-Polish cultural exchanges.

ALGIERS- Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad chaired Thursday, in Algiers, an inter-ministerial council to discuss the revival of the film industry, and announced a series of measures to give a fresh impetus to the field, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.
