ALGIERS- The Couscous and the knowledge, know-how and practices related to its production, have been included in the representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity by the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO), announced Minister of Culture and Arts Malika Bendouda on Wednesday.

ORAN-The digitization operation of Oran’s "Abdelkader Alloula" regional theater, which started after cultural events stopped due to the coronavirous pandemic, is expected to be finalized by early 2021, said the theater directorate.

BOUMERDES- The documentary film "Tadeles ... ville millénaire" ("Tadeles ... millennial city" in English, screened earlier in 2020), has been dubbed into English and French, in order to compete in various international festivals, director, Salah Boufellah said Monday.

ALGIERS- Algerian actor Boudjemaa Djilali won Sunday the Best Actor Golden Olive Tree Award at 5th International Film Festival of Al Quds (Palestine), for his role in "Until the End of Time," by filmmaker Yasmine Chouikh, organizers said.
