ALGIERS- France "must extend apologies to Algeria" which colonization (1830-1962) "resembles no other" colonization by its violence and brutality, said French political journalist Jean-Michel Aphatie, calling it an "unthought political act".

Major reshuffle among Education directors

ALGIERS- Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad conducted Thursday, after consulting President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, a reshuffle of directors of the Education, affecting 34 directors (11 transfers, 23 appointments and 23 others removed from office).
ALGIERS- Minister of Communication, Spokesperson of the Government Ammar Belhimer underlined Thursday that the version of the draft organic law on the electoral system provides for “effective solutions to eradicate corruption which has tainted Algeria’s reputation.”
ALGIERS-The preliminary draft organic law amending and supplementing the organic law on elections sets out the conditions candidates must meet for communal, provincial, parliamentary and presidential elections.
ALGIERS- Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad chaired, on Wednesday by video-conference, a meeting of the Government during which seven draft executive decrees relating to the sectors of Finance, Energy and Culture were examined, said the Prime Minister's Office in a statement.
