ALGIERS- Algeria, official observer of the peace process in Western Sahara, underlined Thursday that the Security Council has made, in its resolution 2494 on the mandate of United Nations Mission for the Holding of a Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO), “a simple technical renewal, in nearly identical terms, of its previous resolution on the issue without giving all the expected impetus to the new dynamic expressly hoped by UN Secretary General.”
