NEW YORK (UNITED NATIONS) - The UN Security Council postponed its meeting on the extension of the mandate of the United Nations mission for the referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO).
BIR LAHLOU (Liberated Saharawi Territories)- The Polisario Front and the Saharawi Government have warned against Morocco's escalation policy that threatens security and stability in the region, urging the Security Council to take action in response to this scheme that jeopardizes Western Sahara people's inalienable right to self-determination.

NEW YORK (United Nations) – South Africa warned the UN Security Council about the increasing violations of human rights in occupied Palestine and Western Sahara, in particular the hostilities permanently committed against women.

CHAHID EL HAFEDH-The adoption by the Security Council of a letter sent recently from President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), Secretary General of the Polisario Front Brahim Ghali to the United Nations as an official document “irritated the Moroccan regime,” said the Sahrawi media.
ALGIERS- President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune called on Monday on the United Nations Security Council to meet, as soon as possible, and adopt a resolution solemnly calling for the immediate cessation of all hostilities throughout the world.
PRETORIA- South Africa has voiced support to Western Sahara people's right to self-determination, stressing that its foreign policy "is based on principles and not on expediency" and insisting on its participation in UN Security Council discussions as an elected member and acting chairman of the African Union (AU).
NEW YORK (United Nations) – Russia reaffirmed, in the Security Council meeting, that any solution to the conflict in Western Sahara must respect the Sahrawi people’s right to self-determination and the UN Charter.
