ALGIERS-President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune stressed Thursday in Algiers the need to diversify wealth and employment generating economic activity to achieve social equity and non-hydrocarbon development.

ALGIERS-President-elect of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Tuesday evening received a phone call from France’s President, Emmanuel Macron, who offered him "warm congratulations" on "the trust placed in him by the Algerian people on 12 December 2019,” said the Presidency of the Republic in a communiqué.
