ALGIERS- Minister of Interior and Local Authorities Nouredine Bedoui called Friday the new members of the People's National Assembly (lower house of Parliament) to work with "responsibility" to meet the concerns of the Algerian people, by implementing the programmes presented during the election campaign.

The HIISE received “15 complaints and all them of them relate to competition, particularly the absence of some electoral lists or the names of voters,” said Derbal after he voted at Ahmed Aroua primary school in Cheraga (west of Algiers).

ALGIERS- The legislative elections are going on smoothly, African Union observation mission chief Dileita Mohamed Dileita noticed Thursday, adding that Algeria remains an "inspiration source" for the African countries in popular consultation.
