ALGIERS-Ambassador of Palestine to Algiers Amine Makboul on Saturday criticized the U.S. administration’s attempt to hinder the convening of the Security Council session on the latest developments in Palestine, calling for Muslim, Arab and international pressure to take decisive measures.

ALGIERS-One hundred and thirty-five (135) new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19), 114 recoveries and 6 deaths were reported over the last 24 hours in Algeria, said Saturday the Ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reform in a communiqué.

ALGIERS- The National Agency for Safeguarded Sectors (ANSS) makes sure that the heritage character of the safeguarded sectors is protected and that the Permanent Plan for the Safeguarding and Enhancement of Safeguarded Sectors (PPSMVSS) is implemented through the 27 established and delimited sectors nationwide, for the protection, restoration, renovation and development of their historical, town planning, architectural and esthetic character.

ALGIERS- The minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform, Abderrahmane Benbouzid, said Thursday in Boufarik (Blida), that the scientific committee has given instructions allowing Algerian nationals and foreigners to enter the country as part of the very strict measures to protect citizens against the Covid 19, and mainly the new variants.

ALGIERS-Permanent Representative of Algeria to the United Nations (UN) in Vienna Fouzia Boumaïza Mebarki has been elected chairperson of the ad hoc intergovernmental committee to elaborate an international convention on countering the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) for criminal purposes, announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement.
