ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces and minister of National Defense, will chair Wednesday a High Security Council meeting to discuss the overall security and health situation in the country as well as the preparations for the next local elections, the presidency of the Republic said in a statement.

ALGIERS- Minister of Health Pr. Abderrahmane Benbouzid reassured Monday, in Algiers, the citizens that Covid-19 vaccine doses are available in “sufficient quantities,” calling them to respect the treatment protocol to contain the epidemic.

ALGIERS-Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Aimene Benabderrahmane said Thursday afternoon in Algiers that the state had taken "a series of measures" to ensure the availability of oxygen in hospitals and meet the growing demand due to the resurgence of contamination to the Covid-19.

ALGIERS-Prime Minister Aimene Benabderrahmane supervised Monday in Algiers the conversion of Mazafran Hotel into a healthcare center for patients with Covid-19 in order to decongest the capital’s overwhelmed hospitals following the increase in the number of contaminations.  

ALGIERS-A ten-day partial lockdown will affect (35) provinces from tomorrow Monday from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. given the resurgence of cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19) in recent days across the country, the Prime Minister's Office said Sunday in a statement.

ALGIERS-The success rate at the baccalaureate examination 2021 hit 61.17% and the admission average is set at 9.5/20 because of health and psychological considerations related to the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19), announced Thursday Minister of National Education Abdelhakim Belabed.
