ALGIERS-The economic and financial criminal division of Sidi M’hamed Court (Algiers) has sentenced Wednesday the two former Prime Ministers, Abdelmalek Sellal and Ahmed Ouyahia, to 5 and 4 years in prison respectively in the Benamor Group case. 

ALGIERS- The criminal pole specialized in financial and economic crimes at Sidi M'hamed Court of Algiers on Monday sentenced the former chief of staff of the prime ministry, Mustapha Karim Rahiel, to three years in prison with a fine of DZD 500,000 while the former Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal was acquitted, in cases relating to corruption in the province of Bejaia (263-km east of Algiers).

ALGIERS- The Court of Algiers sentenced on appeal former prime ministers Ahmed Ouyahia and Abdelmalek Sellal to respectively 15 and 12 years imprisonment, for two cases relating to car assembly and covert funding of Abdelaziz Bouteflika's election campaign for a fifth term.

ALGIERS- The public prosecutor at the Court of Algiers on Wednesday requested a sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine of one million dinars against two former prime ministers, namely Ahmed Ouyahia and Abdelmalek Sellal, in the case of the car assembly and the covert funding of the presidential campaign of former president Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

ALGIERS-The Court of Algiers on Tuesday has sentenced the businessman Ali Haddad to 12 year imprisonment and the two former PMs Ahmed Ouyahia and Abdelmalek Sellal to 8 years, all involved in corruption cases.

ALGIERS- Sidi M'hamed Court of Algiers on Wednesday sentenced businessman Ali Haddad to 18 years in prison and a fine of DZD 8 million. Former Prime Ministers Ahmed Ouyahia and Abdelmalek Sellal were also sentenced to 12 years in jail and one million dinars fine each.

ALGIERS- Judicial advisor at the Supreme Court auditioned Monday former Prime minister Abdelmalek Sellal as part of the case of businessman Ahmed Mazouz, said a communiqué of the public prosecutor at the Court.

ALGIERS- The investigating judge at the Supreme Court on Monday took a deposition from former Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal in the case of businessman Ahmed Mazouz, the prosecutor general of the court said in a statement.

ALGIERS- General Prosecutor at the Supreme Court (Algiers) said on Thursday that former Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal and Former Commerce Minister Amara Benyounès, questioned by the investigating judge at the Supreme Court, were held over accusations relating to "the granting of undue advantages as part of public contracts," the Court said in a release.

ALGIERS-Former Premier, Abdelmalek Sellal on Thursday appeared before the investigating judge at the Supreme Court to be heard in an investigation into corruption cases.
