The audience took place at the Presidency of the Republic, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, the Chief of Staff at the Presidency of the Republic, Abdelaziz Khellaf, and the Minister of Environment, Samia Moualfi. 

An official welcome was given to the president of Ethiopia at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic, where she saluted a detachment of the Republican Guard. Presidents Zewde end Tebboune listened to the Algerian and Ethiopian anthems.   

Previously, Ethiopia’s president went to the Sanctuary of Martyrs where she laid a wreath of flowers before the stele commemorating the memory of the Martyrs of the glorious War of Liberation.
