President Tebboune leaves Algiers for Turkey

ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune left Algiers on Sunday for a three-day visit to Turkey, at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

After listening to the national anthem at the VIP lounge of Houari Boumedienne international airport of Algiers, President Tebboune received a salute from a detachment of the Republican Guard.

The president of the Republic was greeted by Prime Minister Aïmene Benabderrahmane, the Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, Lieutenant General Saïd Chanegriha, and the chief of staff of the presidency of the Republic, Abdelaziz Khellaf.

President Tebboune is accompanied by a large ministerial delegation.

The president "will hold discussions with his brother President of Turkey

on Algerian-Turkish relations, and the means and ways to boost them in the best interests of both brother peoples, and the regional and international relations of common interest," according to a statement by the presidency of the Republic.
