"Pursuant to Article 136 of the Organic Law on the Electoral System, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, President of the Republic issued on Friday, a Presidential Decree convening the electorate for the Presidential Elections scheduled for Thursday, April 18, 2019,” added the communiqué.

 "The same Decree also provides for an exceptional revision of the Electoral Lists which will take place from 23 January to 06 February 2019," added the source.
