National community settled abroad started voting on Saturday while the election operation for Algerians living in remote regions began on Monday.

A total of 23,251,503 voters have to elect 462 deputies of the People's National Assembly (Lower House of Parliament) for five-year term.

The election campaign, which started on 9 April, wrapped up Sunday at midnight.
