ALGIERS- The development and well-being of children have an important place in Algeria, said Regional Director of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) for North Africa and the Middle East Geert Cappelaere, underlining “the major achievements” in terms of implementing children’s rights in the fields of health, education and child protection.
