BRUSSELS-The European Union (EU) on Tuesday reaffirmed, once again, through its Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarcic, that humanitarians aid for the Sahrawi refugees were rigorously monitored, thus clearly denying Morocco’s baseless allegations on an alleged misappropriation of these aids.
ALGIERS- A second cargo of humanitarian aid of 105 tones for the families affected by the floods in Niger was loaded Tuesday on two military cargo aircrafts which took off from the military base of Boufarik, said a communiqué of the National Defense Ministry.
BRUSSELS- The European Union said it is satisfied that the delivery of the humanitarian aid to the Sahrawi refugees went smoothly, affirming that it didn’t record any irregularities in this process, contrary to the false allegations circulated by the Moroccan propaganda machine.
BLIDA- A quantity of 90 tons of humanitarian aid to Mali has been loaded Friday in a military aircraft at the Air Base of Boufarik, in Blida, to send it Saturday to the capital Bamako.
ALGIERS- A military transport plane of the Algerian Air Force, loaded with 29 tonnes of food and various medical equipment on board, took off Saturday from Boufarik Air Base to the Nigerian capital, Niamey, said the Ministry of National Defence (MDN) in a statement.
NEW YORK (UN)- Algeria's permanent representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Sofiane Mimouni, reiterated in New York Algeria's commitment to support neighbouring countries of the Sahel, urging the international community to mobilize to meet the region's pressing humanitarian needs.
ALGIERS- A caravan carrying 154 tons of food and medical equipment set off Thursday, from the Exhibition Center in Algiers, to Sahrawi refugee camps in Tindouf, under the supervision of the Algerian Red Crescent (CRA).
EL-OUED- 260 tonnes of humanitarian aid has been sent from El-Oued to the camps of Sahrawi refugees, the Algerian-Western Sahara Friendship Group told APS.
ILLIZI – The Libyan Red Crescent on Wednesday commended Algeria’s gesture of solidarity with the Libyan people.
ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune has decided to send 100 tons of humanitarian aid, consisting of food, medicines, blankets and many other items for the benefit of the Libyan people, the presidency of the Republic said Monday in a statement.
