TANGER (Morocco)-Algerian karatekas on Sunday won 12 medals (4 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze) at the Africa Karate Do Championships (juniors and seniors) held in Tanger (Morocco).
ALGIERS- The Algerian senior men’s team won Saturday the African title in the Greco-Roman wrestling event with a total of six medals (6 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze), as part of the fifth day of the African Wrestling Championships (all categories), held at the Olympic Complex Mohamed Boudiaf, in Algiers.

ALGIERS- The Algerian Olympic and Sports Committee (COA) called for "pooling efforts" to help "large number of athletes" to qualify to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Only 13 athletes have booked their tickets for this global sports event, scheduled from July 24 to August 9.

ALGIERS- Ambassador of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) in Algiers, Abdelkader Taleb Omar praised, on Saturday, the position of Algeria rejecting the organization of the 2020 Africa Futsal Cup of Nations in the occupied Sahrawi city El Aaiun, a position that has always supported just causes and the right of peoples to self-determination and independence.
