MOSTAGANEM- The competent services of Mostaganem have dismantled a network, composed of 4 persons specializing in organization of illegal emigration to foreign nationals and arrested 52 candidates for illegal emigration, during various operations, local police said on Sunday.

ALGIERS- The illiteracy rate in Algeria has dropped to 8.71 according to the latest figures of the National Office for Literacy and Adult Education (ONAEA), which said that Algeria is working "relentlessly" to continue the fight against this scourge in order to build a "more sustainable" society.
