ANPP to give new impetus to health sector

ALGIERS-The National Pharmaceuticals Agency (ANPP) will give a new impetus to the health sector, said Wednesday Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform Abderrahmane Benbouzid.

TINDOUF – Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad announced Tuesday in Tindouf, that the Government was working for the gradual generalization of tablets in schools and high schools in order to reduce weight of school bag.

BLIDA- Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform Abderrahmane Benbouzid stressed Monday, in Blida, the need for citizens’ mobilization and to respect prevention measures to fight against the coronavirus.  

 

ALGIERS- Minister for pharmaceutical industry Lotfi Benbahmed on Sunday in Algiers underlined the need for promoting local production of drugs in order to cover the country’s needs within two years and thus reduce import bill.

BOUIRA- At least 180,000 boxes of hydroxy-chloroquine drugs will be "soon" provided to the central hospital pharmacy (PCH) in order to strengthen the fight against the new Coronavirus pandemic, Deputy Minister for Pharmaceutical Industry, Abderrahmane Lotfi Djamel Benbahmad announced Tuesday in Bouira.

ALGIERS- The slight increase in the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases isn’t worrying for the moment, said Sunday, in Algiers, the spokesman of the Scientific Committee for Monitoring the Progress of Coronavirus Pandemic Djamel Fourar.

ALGIERS- The slight increase in the number of coronavirus (Covid-19) cases, over the few past days, in Algeria is mainly due to non-compliance with barrier measures, the spokesman of the scientific committee for monitoring the progress of the coronavirus pandemic, Dr Djamel Fourar, said.

ALGIERS- The minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform, Abderrahmane Benbouzid, said Thursday all prevention and medical resources have been made available to provide an appropriate care to patients impacted by the Covid-19 in the country's hospitals.
