ALGIERS- Minister of Energy Noureddine Boutarfa will head Wednesday for Baghdad (Iraq) in anticipation of the next meeting of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), to be held in Vienna on May 25, said Tuesday Ministry of Energy.

ALGIERS- Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal on Monday has received a delegation of the World Bank's directors, who are on a working visit to Algeria, said the Prime Minister Office in a statement.
ALGIERS- The World Bank (WB) is willing to accompany Algeria in the implementation of the new economic growth model until 2035, said Sunday in Algiers a member of the WB Board of Directors, describing the programme as "ambitious."
NOUAKCHOTT (Mauritania)- The participants in the exhibition of Algerian products in Nouakchott said, on th eve of the event’s closing, that the Mauritanian market is promising and the Algerian product is of good quality, at competitive prices, which encourages the promotion of trade cooperation between Algeria and Mauritania, considering that the increase in customs duties to more than 60% could be a hindrance to the matter.
ALGIERS- The 50th edition of the International Fair of Algiers (FIA) will open Monday, at the Exhibition Center (Pins Maritimes) with the participation of 536 Algerian companies, and 494 foreign ones from 34 countries announced Saturday, the CEO of the Algerian Company for Fairs and Exports (SAFEX), Tayeb Zitouni.
ALGIERS- The public companies will henceforth rely on new funding mechanisms for their development, amid the current difficult economic situation, the president of the National Union of Public Entrepreneurs (UNEP), Lakhdar Rekhroukh, told in an interview to APS.
