ALGIERS-One hundred and seventy-six (176) confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19), 121 recoveries and 6 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours in Algeria, announced Tuesday Spokesperson of the Scientific Committee in charge of monitoring the coronavirus pandemic evolution Professor Djamel Fourar.

ALGIERS - The Scientific Committee in charge of monitoring the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic recommended the postponement of group circumcisions usually organized in the 27th day of Ramadan, Leïlat el Qadr (or night of destiny), because of the health measures in force to avoid a possible spread of the virus, said Friday in Algiers Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform, Abderrahmane Benbouzid.

TIPASA- Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform Abderahmane Benbouzid said on Thursday in Tipasa that wearing facemasks will become mandatory, if the spread of the new coronavirus pandemic in Algeria persists, and the situation is not under control.

ALGIERS- One hundred and eighty-six confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 60 recoveries  and seven deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours in Algeria, taking the total number of the confirmed cases at 6253 and that of deaths at 522, the spokesman of the scientific committee for monitoring the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic, Djamel Fourar, said Wednesday in Algiers.

ALGIERS- The supplementary finance bill 2020 provides for a reference price of 30 dollars per barrel against 50 dollars in the initial finance act, the minister-counsellor for Communication, official spokesman of the presidency of the Republic, Belaid Mohand Oussaid, told a news conference Wednesday in Algiers.
